Economist, financial adviser, lecturer and researcher, advisor to the Tokarev Foundation

Glib Buriak, PhD — economist, financial adviser, lecturer and researcher at the intersection of institutional economics, technology and public policy. PhD in Economics (Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv), author of over 30 academic publications on institutional development, international investment and corruption-induced distortions in economic systems. As a venture capital manager, he built a start-up portfolio worth over $5 million, combining experience in deal origination and due diligence with academic analysis. He advises the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, is an associate professor at the Ukrainian-American Concordia University, and is the author of a national economic recovery initiative that has received international professional and academic support. His practical focus is on models in which private capital, public policy and scientific expertise function as a unified development infrastructure. He serves as an advisor to the Tokarev Foundation on the development of the Foundation’s catalytic financing.
