Candidate of Biological Sciences, associate professor in the Department of Ecology and Zoology

Biologist, vertebrate zoologist, biology and chemistry instructor, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology and Zoology at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He has been teaching at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for over 28 years. Anatolii’s research focuses on the planning of territories and sites within the nature reserve fund. Based on his scientific studies, approximately 200 new sites have been established within Ukraine’s nature reserve fund, including the Pyriatyn National Nature Park. Since 1996, he has led a number of international nature conservation projects (including a project to create a network of training centers for staff of nature reserve areas in Northern Eurasia). Since 2009, Anatolii has served as director of the Training Center for Nature Conservation at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, located at the Kaniv Nature Reserve, where staff members of nature reserves and national nature parks in Ukraine undergo professional development courses.
