Prateek Singh is the founder and CEO of Proteins.1, a Finnish deep-tech company building the first scalable “PCR for proteins” — a physics-based, enzyme-free platform for single-molecule protein detection that works simultaneously for DNA, RNA, and proteins. The technology enables ultra-early disease detection by identifying molecular warning signals long before symptoms appear. Proteins.1 was originated from VTT, Finland’s national research institute, and launched with €4.7M in pre-seed funding. A serial founder at the intersection of science and business, Prateek previously built AKITA (organ-on-chip platforms for pharmaceutical research) and MapDeduce (AI, acquired). He holds 30+ patents spanning microfabrication, diagnostics, cancer modelling, microfluidics, and sensing technologies, and has attracted over €20M in cumulative funding from national and EU programmes, including Horizon, EIC, and MSCA. With a background spanning biosensors, molecular biology, nanophotonics, and UAV/satellite data, he brings rare depth to both deep research and company building.
