Ukrainian professional tennis player. In 2026, Marta won her first clay-court title at the Rouen Open, and later claimed the biggest title of her career by winning the WTA 1000 in Madrid. She reached a career-high No. 15 in the WTA world rankings.
Marta is the founder of the Marta Kostyuk Foundation, a charitable foundation dedicated to making tennis accessible and full of opportunities for young people in Ukraine.
· As a child, Marta practiced acrobatics for several years and still can do a back handspring — an acrobatic flip performed through the hands.
· Before winning the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid, Marta had a 12-match winning streak on clay, having won the Rouen Open and helped the Ukrainian national team qualify for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals for the second time.
