Flight Control Center at NASA – Houston. Center encompasses NASA’s divisions that are responsible for the development and operation of space shuttles. Space center runs programs in piloted flights, space medicine and aviation. Houston was a preparation center for Apollo missions and the home for “Year in Space” study, in which astronaut Scott Kelly participated. Also, space capsule Orion and the James Webb telescope are being tested in Houston.
